About Ulrike Garvert
Art exceeds limits, not only in regard to artists and their works, but also by working with them. Often Harald Szeemann's curatorial work with art is even considered as art itself. An inspiring perspective.
But working with art has also its very practical aspects: Knowing how the press works in order to get articles about exhibitions published; accuracy in selecting authors for a catalogue project; skills in organizing upcoming exhibitions; competent advice for collectors.
Since 2003 Ulrike Garvert is working for artists, galleries and exhibitory institutions. She is a "kunstarbeiterin": Author, publisher and gallery assistent. Ulrike Garvert is currently working on her dissertation on Harald Szeemann.
